Brilliant red. Vibrant red berry, cherry cola, floral and spice qualities on the expressive nose. Fine-grained and well-balanced, offering appealingly sweet strawberry, cherry and rose pastille flavors that display excellent clarity and betray no excess fat. Fine-grained tannins lend gentle grip to a very long, spice-tinged finish that echoes the red fruit and floral notes. 28% new French oak.

A well-crafted red, showing structure and polish, with refined cherry and blueberry flavors that are laced with black tea and tarragon notes. Drink now through 2027

90 points ~ wine enthusiast

This is the winery's reserve-level Pinot, a barrel selection from estate-grown fruit. It's rather light in this vintage, with thinnish red berry fruit and notes of dried tea and tobacco. Finished in 20% new French oak, there's a streak of milk chocolate as it fades.

2017 THE ESTATE PINOT NOIR

92 points ~ VINOUS

Glistening red. Vibrant red fruit, floral and spice scents show very good clarity that picks up subtle hints of succulent herbs and smoky minerals with air. Juicy and energetic in the mouth, the 2017 offers gently sweet cherry raspberry and rose pastille flavors and a touch of spicecake. Smooth, well-integrated tannins make a late appearance on a long, floral-tinged finish that shows no rough edges.

Fermented with native yeast, this spicy and broad-flavored wine tastes of plum jam, with an interesting menthol note. It's wide open and well-balanced, and probably at its best through the middle of the decade.

2018 WILLAMETTE VALLEY PINOT NOIR

92 points ~ wine enthusiast

This affordably priced wine seems to have been given extra careful hands-on treatment, with native yeast, basket pressing and all estate-grown fruit. A bright burst of raspberry fruit comes with a dash of pepper, and adds on more fruit flavors of plum and blackberry. A pretty floral component enhances both the aroma and the finish.

90 points ~ VINOUS

Deep red. Cherry, black raspberry and floral aromas are complemented by suggestions of musky earth and black tea. Chewy and focused on entry, offering bitter cherry and dark berry flavors that deepen and become sweeter with air. Shows solid closing punch, repeating florality and a hint of smokiness on a long, gently tannic finish. Aged in 8% new oak.

2019 ESTATE CHENIN BLANC

91 points ~ wine enthusiast

Bone-dry despite the low alcohol, this tangy, delicious wine brings bright grapefruit, waxy lemon, apple and white peach goodness into focus. Almost unknown in Oregon, the potential here is limitless for this under-the-radar variety. Estate-grown and barrel-fermented with native yeast, this is a sappy, sexy and beautifully balanced wine.
